Our Co-Founders

 During her 19 year tenure, Melissa has held a multitude of different positions that range from Mortgage and Escrow to Real Estate Litigation and Investments. The wide berth of knowledge obtained early in her career has proved an invaluable asset in navigating the Real Estate Investment World of today.  

During Melissa’s career she has overseen the acquisition, renovation and disposition of over 5000 homes. Melissa has overseen the growth of multiple residential investment firms over the last 10 years where she has been not only responsible for acquisitions and portfolio management, but also overall company operations and growth. She prides herself on her strong ethics and morals in the work place, and considers herself an excellent steward of capital.

  Beginning her career with Accenture, Amanda had extensive experience in business, system and process development and integration.  Her specialty was business transformation, leading many large scale organization-wide business process and system implementations, with budgets in excess of $100 million.   During her time in consulting and corporate America, she had extensive experience in Public Relations, Government Affairs and Market Implementation.  

While working in the corporate world, Amanda followed her passion for design and real estate.  She is the founder of Investing by Design, a boutique real estate investment firm in the San Diego area.  She is considered one of the leading residential designers and project managers in the industry.     Additionally she has chaired a non-profit supporting the local hospital’s prenatal clinic and NICU.
